Propeller 3/1-2008 The prop arrived with the engine. There are various kinds of props. They can be manufactured in wood, aluminium and composit materials. They can also be constant speed, wich means that we can maintain a constant RPM by altering the angle of attack of the blades. A third option is the number of blades, you can choose from two all the way to 6 blades. The advantage of having more blades is, that it's less noisy. The reason for that, is the fact that the distance from the center of the prop, to the tips is shorte the more blades you have. Making the speed at the tips lover. We have choosen a three blade constant speed, composit propeller from the german company MT. The prop we have choosen is reccomended by the enginemanufacturer, supposedly it's a perfect match to the rotaryengine. And not to forget, I think it looks sooooo sexy.!!
