Updates

20/10-2010 The electrical installation has been completed, and the engine has been fired up.

1/9 Our painter has been here again, to finalize the details. Look under "paint" to see more.

22/6 - 2009 The plane is back from upholstry, some pictures have been added under interior.
I have also added some pictures of our paintjob.

3/4 - 2009 A lot of small things has been done. The paint has been sanded and buffed. My dad has been busy, making the cabin ready for upholstry. It's scheduled to go off to upholstry in the end of march.
The latest news regarding our engine, is that they will ship it to us in the end of march. We'll see, but we certainly hope so.

26/9-2008 The "cowl" section, under finishing is updated. The cowling is done, actually it has been for a while.
The engine section is upated, with latest news from Mistral.
Our painter has paid us a visit, look under paint to see the result. p>

7/5-2008 The paintprocess is off to a good start.

26/1-2008 The engine and propeller has arrived, and has been mounted look under engine/prop.
Instruments has been ordered. Look under instruments.

10/8-2007 It's been a while since I updated the homepage. The reason being, that ther havn't been that much to tell. Besides that I have started a job flying a Boeing 737 so that has taken a lot of my time.

What has happened since the last update, is that we have recieved the engine mockup. That has allowed us to move on an create the cowl.
The mould for the cowl is done, so it should be done soon. Check under "finishing".
The latest news (yesterday) is that the real engine will be delivered before new year

25/2-2007 We did a "staticload" test of the wings today.
Look under the menu wings to see how it went.

23/11-2006 We havn't built anything the last 3-4 months, the problem is that we need the engine to get any further. We need to do the cowl to be able to paint and upholstre the plane, and we cannot do the cowl without the engine. We had hoped to get it in october. The latest news from Mistral, however, indicates that we woun't be getting it until april/may. The have promised to do a mockup for us, so we can do the cowl and get the plane painted. That way we will be ready to fly when the engine arrives.

We have also made arrangement with a norwegian guy, to paint the plane. He is very talented, more on this later on. He has done a lot of "showtrucks" in cooperation with the guy who is going to upholstre our plane.

3/3 The interior is progressing day by day. See what we have done under "extras". 26/1 We have made some progress on the interior and on the doors. I have also been busy removing scratches from the windows. We thought that we could avoid scratching them if we were carefull.. WRONG. So I have spent a week removing scratces and polishing the windows. A shitty job, but you learn from it. COVER THE WINDOW's
We have also started to think about the paintjob we want.
We should be ready to get the plane upholstred in a few weeks, and then we "just" need to do the instrumentpanel and the engineinstallation to be finished.

Unfortunately the engine isn't due to arriwe until late july/august so we woun't be painting until then.

Mistral has promished to send us a mockup so that we can get the cowl and the installations done.
We hope to be done before tha summer, and to be airborne in september

14/1 We have dumped the panels we have made for the interior. The simply couldn't use them. Check under "extras" to se what we have done instead. We have also started doing the rest of the interior.

12/12

The first panel is curing at this very moment. Read more about it under "extras".

24/11

The windows has been put in, and we have started on the whellfairings. Besides that we have started on the interior of the plane.
Look under "finishing"
I have made a link called "extras". Here you can see all the extra stuff thatwe are doing that are not standard.

27/10

A lot of things has happend since my last update. We have finished the wings and the, finishing part of the kit is coming along very fast.

Another new thing is the powerplant. Mistral have had some difficulties with the turbo for the 230hp, they have found a solution for it. But the great news is that they have decided to speed up the finalizing of their 300 Hp three rotor engine. I WANT THAT BAD.

The largest advantage is ofcourse the more HP but also the fact that we don't have to thing about the turboinstallation with intercooler and everything. The 300hp is more like plug and play. We will have it derated to fit the specifications set up by vans.
